With over 90 appearances for Long Eaton United, Danny Gordon was welcomed back to the club this summer after spending a season with United Counties League side Heanor Town.Gordon was part of the Long Eaton United team that achieved back-to-back promotions with a United Counties League title in 2021/22 and a Northern Premier League East Division play-off winner’s medal in 2022/23.
Very much a fan favourite, Gordon was presented with the 'supporters player of the season' and the 'player's player of the season' awards for his efforts in the 2021/22 title-winning campaign.
