James Shaw put the Blues ahead early in the first half, before forcing an own goal from Conrad Logan and then added a second of his own at the start of the second half.
Then, James Taylor secured the Blues’ fourth before Jacob Fenton secured a brace of his own, either side of a composed Connor Pace finish, to ensure all three points for United.
Brad Munn made just one change coming into the match against the Leicestershire-based side, as Liam Loughlan was sidelined with illness and Evan Garnett returned to the starting XI.
Garnett almost gave the Blues an early lead with a deft header following Taylor’s cross in the opening stages, although the returning forward could not quite find the target.
However, Shaw did knock the Blues in front on 19 minutes with a towering header that beat former Leicester City shot-stopper Logan, before then forcing an own goal from the Nomads’ keeper just moments later to hold a two-goal advantage at half-time.
After the restart, Shaw quickly made it three with a superb finish to find the bottom right corner from the edge of the Nomads’ box, and then, fuelled with momentum, James Taylor made it four with an immaculately timed half volley on the turn that found the top right just nine minutes later.
Callum Cocks’ crosses were causing danger throughout the match, but his in-swinging cross in the 75th minute came closest to creating a chance as it flew through the Anstey defence but just too far for Shaw or Kiarhys Svarc to attack.
Nomads’ substitute Jacob Fenton did then net a brace for the visitors late on, one from a low-driven shot and one from a deft header.
Although, those goals fell either side of a composed Pace finish following exceptional work from Svarc and a trivela pass to bring the goal scoring to a close and secure back-to-back victories for United.
