It's been an emotional goodbye for Healy who's had a long association with the club

From "Headband Healy" to Head Coach, Charlotte Healy - who has been involved in the club for the last 20 years as a player and most recently as manager - has sadly had to step down at the end of this season due to growing coaching commitments at Liverpool Ladies and a five hour commute to and from Long Eaton, making it impossible for her to continue.

As a club we would like to thank Charlotte for all of her hard work and dedication over the years. She has transformed Long Eaton Ladies from a team on the verge of folding to a league and cup double-winning team in 2015/16. Under Charlotte's management we have successfully secured FA Women’s Premier League (Midlands) Division status for another season by finishing mid table and became the only team to beat both 1st and 2nd in the league on route.

Long Eaton Ladies will add a new development team next season, with the arrival of the successful Gedling Southbank U18s' manager Jason Lowther. The team have been accepted (subject to approval at the FA WPL AGM) into the FA WPL Midland Reserve Division and will enjoy local derbies against Forest and Derby County to name just two.

The club are also hoping to make some exciting announcements over the coming summer months with regard to the continuing developments at Grange Park.
