Earlier this year we announced local legend Garry Birtles will be coming home to Grange Park and now we can reveal the full details.

Birtles, who played for Long Eaton United in the 1970s, was part of the victorious Nottingham Forest team which won back-to-back European Cups in 1979 and 1980.

A League and European Super Cup winner, Birtles later played for Manchester United and Notts County too.

On Friday, April 7 the former footballer will be coming to Grange Park for a special 'evening with' as part of the club's extended 60th year anniversary celebrations.
