Johnson has featured 11 times for Long Eaton United since the 18-year-old made his debut for the club in November 2023 against AFC Sudbury.

“It’s with disappointment we unfortunately are going to lose Casey" said first-team manager Brad Munn "but with a sense of pride that we have played a good part in his development as a club and coaching staff.

Munn added: "I certainly wish Casey all the best with the new move as he is a very good young player with bags of potential.
"Go well young man and good luck!"
