Grange Park is the home to over 20 teams, ranging from our U7s all the way up to the men’s and women’s first teams.
Therefore, it is of paramount importance that we ensure all our players, parents, staff, fans, and general visitors are as safe as possible.
With the new limitations from the government, including the rule of six and 10 pm closures, the club has made some slight changes and new additions to the safety measures that had already been put in place.
The introduction of the new NHS COVID-19 app has allowed us to register as an organisation and use the app for track and trace purposes, instead of individuals having to give their name and telephone number upon entry.
We recommend that you download the NHS track and trace app, to not only ensure for speedy entry into games but so that general visitors can also be notified if anyone has tested positive or is showing symptoms of COVID-19 from when they were at the ground.
Here are the safety measures that have been put in place at Grange Park, to outline the importance of people’s safety:
NHS COVID-19 track and trace upon entry – simply scan the QR on the poster near the entrance or around the ground.
Face covering must be worn inside the clubhouse until seated.
A maximum of six people are allowed on a table within the clubhouse.
Normal social distancing measures and guidelines must be adhered too – Hands, Face, Space.
The one-way system and sanitisers are still in place, with clear instructions and signage around the ground.
Spectators at matches inside Grange Park must also be in groups of six maximum and must keep a 2m distance away from any other group.
With the new closure times for bars, restaurants, etc…, the bar located inside the clubhouse will now close at 10 pm.
These measures have been put in place for both yours and our safety, so we ask everyone to please adhere to them, to ensure a quicker transition.
It may be different, but the club would still love to see all our fans down at Grange Park, to help contribute during these uncertain times.
We hope that we can eventually start a transition back to normality, but for now, the club wishes that everyone stays safe and remains healthy.
Thank you for all the support that the club has received so far, we appreciate it immensely.
